Apple Ibooks Author 2.6.1 Free

We’ve always been encouraged not to judge a book by its cover, but enticing cover art can make a reader more likely to purchase your book. Cover art isn’t required during a pre-order period. Apple Books generates a basic cover art image if you don’t provide one, but we highly recommend that you supply your own. Cover art is required before the book’s release date.
If you created your book in Pages or iBooks Author, you can make changes to your files and resubmit from within the app. If you used another book creation tool, use it to make your changes and resubmit the book through iTunes Producer or the Apple Books Publishing Portal. Note: Book creation is moving to Pages. As of July 1, 2020, iBooks Author.
*It is all about iBook author. In that case, other ebook stores will not be helpful, because iBA produces a special format (.ibooks) that only the iBookstore will accept (and which can only be read on an iPad, no other device). It can also produce.pdf format, which is usable anywhere, but does not offer the same features.

Cover art must be in PNG or JPEG format, RGB colorspace, and at least 1400 pixels on its shortest side. For an average paperback book, this could be 1400 (width) x 1873 (height) pixels, since these books are generally taller than the width.Apple Ibooks Author 2.6.1 Free Download
If you’re not using iBooks Author or Pages to create your book, you will also need to create in-book cover art. This is the image that displays when a reader opens your book. In-book cover art should comply with our requirements for interior images.Apple Ibooks Author 2.6.1 Free Download
